## About this knowledge base

This repository contains structured, AI-consumable documentation for rain, a South African connectivity company. Every file follows a standard header format with metadata that helps AI systems decide what to load.

### File status values

| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| **active** | Content is current and authoritative. Safe to use and cite. |
| **draft** | Structure exists but content is incomplete. Do not cite as fact. |
| **deprecated** | Replaced by newer content. Follow the redirect in the file. |

### Header format

Every file begins with a metadata block containing:

- `id` -- unique path-based identifier
- `title` -- human-readable title
- `description` -- 1-2 sentence summary (read this to decide if you need the full file)
- `use_when` -- trigger conditions ("load this file when you need to...")
- `related` -- relative paths to linked files
- `last_updated` -- ISO date of last content update
- `status` -- active, draft, or deprecated
